Re: fuse box/panel location on 1955-56?
seeing as you can't find a fuse panel in your truck, you can add one by wiring it directly from the battery or starter. local parts store may have a 4 fuse panel. you can also use inline fuses but they get a little confusing when you add more than a couple.
i would not add to the current load on the old wiring. lots of us have come off the headlight switch or the horn relay to add circuits, but i believe your asking for trouble by doing this.
