Front Turn Signal
My front turn signal (parking light, in bumper) doesn't work. The parking lamp works but it doesn't blink when I turn right. The dash doesn't light but the back one does blink. The everything for left turns works fine. Whats up?

The bright filament is burned out on your front right. You need a new bulb.

good thing. i was gonna try a new bulb out in the morning and see if that fixed it. i thought i'd ask to see if it was something in the switch or something. I bought the last one at work tonight when we closed Pamida. Automatic ordering doesn't work when it takes a month for the items to get from the truck, through the stockroom, onto the floor, out of the box and onto the peghook. The low volume extremely rural Pamida's have just to few hours... anyhow.. at least it is Wagner instead of some crazy knockoff. I bet it'll be at least a month before that 1157 shows back up on the shelf (or was it 1156... i dont remember what i had looked up).. i am rambling.. need to go to bed.. sign that i'm tired... later y'all

Did you get an amber 1157, or clear? The amber one looks so much better in the 69/70 grill...I always thought the clear ones looked kinda gay in there myself.
Sounds like you need a 194 bulb for the dash indicator too. |

I replaced that front right bulb and it still doesn't work... neither does that dash light. But why does the rear light work? I would think at least the dash would light up even if the front one didn't.

The dash indicator can still light up no matter what combination of working/non-working lights you have.
Verify that you are actually getting power to the socket for your light. Check the light in your dash too. From your description, you may have a burnt out indicator bulb or bad printed circuit causing the indicator light to not work. As for your front, it could be the wire from the signal switch to the light itself, or a wire could have come loose inside of your steering column. Just start at the easiest part of the circuit (being where your signal light goes) then trace & troubleshoot till you find your problem. GOOD LUCK!

if you turn the hazzards on do all four corners work? and do the dash indicators work with hazzards?(that will verify the wiring) if not then might be in the engine/front wiring harness or the plug/or the lamp have to look at a diagram.....dont have one infront of me.
