Re: do i need high hump

If you already have a 4 speed it should be a high hump. AND I have seen trucks with turbo 400s with the low hump without any clearance issues

Re: do i need high hump

High humps were used in TH400 trans trucks,... which is the same basic size as a 700r4.
I would say you will need a high hump.

Re: do i need high hump

I am also curious about this. I have a 67 2wd with the low hump and I'm going with a RPM 4l80e. I can get a nice high hump for 50 bucks but not sure if I need it...

Thanks for any info! Jason
