Grounding wire????

Thanks for the info all.

I think I will go with the option of not taking it to bare metal first, but if the system decides to not like it, what would be the tale-tale signs that it wants me to take it to bare metal for better connection.

Also, do i put dielectric grease on these grounding bolts, washers, loops...? Thanks again for all the help trying to put it back together.
