Aftermarket steering wheels

Here is mine that I recently finished installing. Not sure if this qualifies as a custom but it is an aftermarket one, it's a Grant Challenger. I needed a smaller one for more room & easier access getting in and out since I don't have tilt steering. It works for now until I finish restoring & cutting down an original wheel from 16" down to 14".

This is mine. No idea what brand it is but the size suits me and doesn't interfere with getting in or out. I really had to hunt around to get a thin adapter to give me maximum room, and find a unique horn button!

We're there any original GM wheels from mid to late 60s that were smaller diameter? I like the OEM look, but don't need the "Bus Driver" size...

I don't know about that, I mean there should be, I'm between a gm style 3 spoke with slots or a Lecarra mark 9 with double slots and black wrap.

If like the Lacarras you should look at the Moto-Litas as well, the Lacarra is basically a knock off of those. Hand made in the UK, leather or wood.

Didnt really see a Moto one i liked, and with the lecarra i can get it from the rod shop my dad works at and know if it doesnt work or breaks i can take it back lol same with the column and wiring and stuff

I agree, I like the look of the OEM steering wheel but the big truck style makes it harder to get in and out of the cab. That's why I have 4 OEM steering wheels that I am in the process of cutting them down to 14" to 14 1/2" and will put them up for grabs once they are restored.
