Any good projects for sale out there? (73-87, SWB)

Looking for another project to tinker with. Budget around 5k-6kish. Looking for a 73-87 SWB. 2wd or 4wd doesnt matter. Know of anything out there?

Again, search Craigslist. They're just going to edit and lock this thread too just like your other one.

Check your local junkyards. I go to two yards frequently. Both have at least 30 Square Bodys.

The short boxes are more desirable, but they only made what, 43 million of the things?

And if all else fails, Craigslist. If that fails, post a wanted ad. There are a ton out there!

Junkyards aren't allowed to sell whole vehicles, at least here. Once it's in the yard it gets a COD.

Re: Any good projects for sale out there? (73-87, SWB)

Really? Out here in Wyoming, we must be more lenient. I bought a LeSabre at a junkyard. Most of the people in our town have bought something from him.

This yard was a privately owned one, though. The guy buys broken and salvage vehicles, and fixes them. He does have all the state permits, though.

I guess Florida is more strict than we are.

Is Texas that way? If not, it might be a good starting point for the OP.

Well, thanks for teaching me a little more about how things work around here.

I apologize, continue on.

I found my '85 after a craigslist search. Just mix up the search terms; C10, C-10, Chevy Truck, Truck, Silverado, etc.

People list their vehicles different ways.

Yea, that's what makes it so frustrating, mis spelling a word, term, symbol can make you miss one. I use search tempest daily right now with different terms.

Check my build thread. I may be willing to part with it before it's done.
