How do you get sa u joint o the intermediate coupler??

This is a pic from another post. I took my intermediate shaft apart to install a u joint but it has this weird end with those two round ends where the grease boot fits. Is it possible to use a ujoint there??

It wouldn't be wise or practical I would imagine to use a U-joint on that particular shaft as it would need to be turned down, but you can buy a shaft that has a splined end with a U-joint for these trucks.
