is this one of our members trucks?

This truck is in my neighborhood and it's been slowly getting modifications. Yes... it is a dually, with a cowl induction hood. Lol looks like the guy grafted some step side fenders to the side of the fleetside bed to get the extra width..

Welding is a lot like sex, you don't have to be great with the rod as long as you thoroughly prep the surface and your good at grinding
My build : 68 C10 Short Bed Conversion

I don't know if they are a member or not but here in Iowa we would just stop and introduce ourselves and ask...

I don't care for the hood but I like where it's headed.

Re: is this one of our members trucks?

There's another guy down the street from him with a brown and white 69-72 GMC and a 70-72 blazer. I was going to stop and introduce myself to him' but the guy with the dually I never see outside.

Pretty sure I know that guy. You said he has a blazer too?

If it's who I think it is he knows these trucks in and out probably as good as anyone and is a great mechanic.

Too many?

I guess I'm lucky.
That's not the way it is where I live in Ca.

However, if someone comes with bad intentions,
they only come once.

Re: is this one of our members trucks?

I was thinking of making up some business cards with the website and my screen name to hand out (or leave on the truck)...

That's actually a pretty good idea, we used to do that for the impala club im in, whenever we saw a 91-96 caprice Fleetwood roadmaster or impala we'd tuck it in the driver side window seal or wiper. got a lot of great members by doin that.

Re: is this one of our members trucks?

Its really surprising how many people with these old trucks that dont know about this site and that would be a good way to spread the word .My friend that owns Chevelleforum.net has cards like that and she leaves them on every Chevelle she see's at shows and events in Michigan.

I agree, there's a dropped 68 burb around the corner from me right now, and a 64-66 SWB fleet dropped with stock caps that looks sweet, but I can never seem to get together with them.
