Weird thing under my dash 1967 gmc

Yes it is original to the 67- as in it left the factory with it, maybe not that one, but one like it.

It's the beverage dispenser. Store your beverage of choice under the hood with a tube going into the bottle, hook it up, and use your windshield wiper switch to start pouring.

iI works great for keeping coffee warm, especially of you relocate the reservoir a little.

I just learned about them this week. That is where they were mounted in the factory, but when they went bad or started leaking and I guess that was quite often they would relocate to the outside of the firewall.
