New!: Pro Performance Tie Rod Adjusting Sleeves
Pro Performance Aluminum Tie Rod Adjusting Sleeves
These sleeves look cleaner than the stock ones, and will make it easier to adjust as well. The kit includes the machined aluminum sleeve and jam nuts. 2 different lengths available, for both standard or narrowed 1" arms. We currently have some new ones being made, ready in 4 weeks, that will be early style thread on the inner, and later style on the outer. This will work for the guys converting to disc using later model components, and still allow you to use your early factory inner tie rods and drag link. Currently Fits: 71-87 C10's w/ Standard or Narrowed Arms http://www.azproperformance.com/Alum...71-87-C10.html Last edited by Pro Performance; 09-22-2014 at 10:30 AM. |

Re: New!: Pro Performance Tie Rod Adjusting Sleeves
We are working on our next tie-rod sleeve, that will adapt an earlier 63-70 inner to be used with a later 71-72 spindle. Because the threads are both RHD on this setup, you would have to remove from the spindle to adjust. To make things easier and adjustable on the truck as it should be, it will have a heim joint with tapered shaft on the end.
Is this something that would interest any of you? Because of the heim on the end and machined tapered shaft, it would be appx. $170 (pair) for the setup. It would look similar to this: |
