Brake bleed nipple

I tried to bleed the brakes today & found a faulty bleed nipple on my Mustang2 front clip. Anyone know what thread the bleed nipple is? I don't think it's metric, it looks coarser. Thanks

Ha! you said "Nipple" LOL .

But seriously it is either going to be a 1/4x28 or a 3/8x24 thread. Just measure one and see if it is 3/8 or 1/4. Or you can take it to a parts store and have them match it with the right one.

Re: Brake bleed nipple

Tried to get one even went to ford dealer. As soon as I mention mustang I have 2 Hopes Bob & no. I looked at the bleed screw & noticed a small scratch in the seating so I put it in a lathe & polished it out. I've refitted it & will check it after work.

Ya, It may be hard to get one in the UK. Around here just about any parts store will usually have multiple styles of brake bleeders.
