Blazer utility/aux bucket seats

The utility bucket was the standard seat. A passenger seat and a rear seat had to be ordered, if desired. However, the seat did not necessarily indicate a low optioned truck, as mine, for example, had the utility buckets and also had 350, TH350, PS,PB, factory air, guage package, lock out hubs, 16" wheels, radio etc. The CST trim level, in 1971 for example, offered the narrower front buckets and console, chromed bumpers, special insulaton and under coating, bright moldings, and deep-twist carpeting when ordered with an auxiliary top. Even the CST had to have the rear seat ordered.

An interesting factoid in my GM Blazer brochure indicates that a 2WD blazer frame has a "section modulus of 2.98 while a 4WD frame has one of 2.70. Section modulus is an engineering term/calculation. Don't have a clue as to what it actually means but GM thought it should be listed on its spec page.
