Power Brake Push Rod

I'd like to upgrade my truck to power brakes. I have a booster and a bracket, but I need the rod that goes from the brake pedal to the upper pivot on the bracket. Does anyone reproduce these? Can I get a universal kit? What have you guys done in the past when upgrading? This is one point that doesn't seem to be addressed in any of the "power brake upgrade" topics I've seen on the board.

Re: Power Brake Push Rod

I'd recommend take a look at one of the many ads on the parts section of the forum where someone is parting a complete truck. There's not a long line of folks wanting this part and there are lots of trucks being parted.

Here are just a few:

Re: Power Brake Push Rod

It seems that people only want to sell their power brake setups as whole assemblies when parting out a truck. Are there any other solutions?

Re: Power Brake Push Rod

Some of the aftermarket companies provide an adjustable rod with their kit. Maybe one of the could source you one. You'll never know if you don't ask.
