I need help finding a couple GM part numbers (Need a guy with old dealer books)

Ok, I think I found a good source for some NOS GM parts for our big block trucks, however I need help finding a few part numbers. The place I found can only look up part numbers if I have them. Here's what I need fellas

1. What is the part number for the Z-Bar Bracket (frame side) for a manual transmission big block truck? The Z-Bar mounts to it and then it is bolted or riveted to the frame.

2. What is the part number for the big block ball stud for our trucks? It has a horseshoe bracket with the stud in the middle?

3. What is the part number for the clutch rod that pushes the z-bar from the clutch pedal?

4. What is the part number for the clutch pushrod that goes between the z-bar and the clutch fork?

If someone could post up a parts diagram or give me the part numbers, I would be very grateful.

If someone does the legwork for you, are you going to share access to this NOS parts hoard? Or is it a one-way deal?

I've been in this same situation. It's difficult and time consuming to find part numbers. Part of the solution, GM Chassis and body parts catalog, 1946 - 1972 1/2 thru 1 ton. I got mine off Fleabay. I say part because many numbers have been superseded several times.

Hi Tim, thanks but I have those pictures in my service manual. I'll try searching the site. I can't believe no one has these parts numbers available to share. Years ago when I first joined this site, people were a lot more helpful such as yourself. Now I feel like the atmosphere has changed quite a bit.

Re: I need help finding a couple GM part numbers (Need a guy with old dealer books)

I have a 1970 GMC master parts index. I looked through the clutch stuff and found a few numbers, but no pictures(that would be too easy). I am fairly new at this so be patient and take the #'s with a grain of salt as the description in the MPI is not great.
#1 3931245 on frame with 396
#2 Bracket-clutch lever shaft 3973498-on engine 1970 396 also on engine 1969 396 Panel and Burb 3941676-on engine with 396 flat top 3931243- on engine with 396 rounded top
#3? 3931241- Clutch lever incl shaft 396 eng
#4 Rod-clutch control fork to lever rod 3916799 fork to lever with 396 engine
3907877- with 396Eng and without A.I.R.

Just curious, when you get the correct part numbers what will you do with them? I have a 396 with the 3OT and had a heck of a time tracking down the push rod from the cab to the Z-bar. Finally, got one from a board member here in Georgia.
I has posted a WTB in the WTB section and found it that way.
