I seem to have lost my camera right after Christmas, or I would take my blue N.O.S. K/20 knob & keepers out of their boxes and get a picture for this thread

These are from a parts shipment headed for Hawaii that sunk back in '72, salvaged in '03. The boxes are what some bearings cam in for a '99

Hey just so you know LMC truck offers them in the 1960-1966 truck catalog. Not sure if they will fit your application or not. I have an original set on my 64 K10 truck with the original cardon joint front axle or closed knuckle axle. Good luck!

I don't have an LMC catalog. Could you post a link or picture? Are you talking about Slectro knob-style?

I am not very computer literate, I don't know how to post pics from other pages but I can direct you to their web site. Go to LMC truck look up chevy trucks 196-1964 pg 91 or search k10 locking hubs the part number is 36-1563 they are pricy at $394.95 but sometimes you have to pay for what makes you happy and makes your truck so much easier to enjoy! I love the original ones on my 64 if my lock outs need replaced on my 72 suburban and these will fit I will pay the extra $200. These are brand new selectro hubs and mine are real easy to engage they feel like a real quality hub when compared to new style we have today. I'll continue to try and learn how to post pics sorry!

see the dent in the hub on the top left corner of the second picture? is that whats limiting you from removal?

A old thread but? Can the old spicer/lockout hubs from my 61 work on later big bearing hubs? the hubs are shorter than the 61's (for the disc brakes?) but the axle ends at the same place.

Check out those phillips head screws. I think those were made by Rugged Ridge.

How about these? I don't think I'd like this set-up. "Do you remember what you did with that little tool for the hubs when I handed it to you the last time we needed 4wd?"

The Phillips screw are bit strange. But, those hubs tha need a tool to work them. They are a lot strange!
