Front Hood Rubber Bumper Location

Apparently the hood on my 1953 Chevy Truck is a replacement hood because there are no holes at the front for the 4 thick rubber bumpers. Can someone tell me the locations (in inches) for these 4 rubber bumpers? Or include a photo to give me a location for me to use to drill the 4 holes.

67GMCKid to the rescue. I couldn't dig up a decent photo of them installed.

Re: Front Hood Rubber Bumper Location

Thanks guys. That solved my problem. I was confused by the photo I downloaded from one of the parts places that showed them on the hood. Once I saw your photo it all came back to me. Like they say, "A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words".

they do have bumpers on the hood also. The go along the sides. @ per side if i recall correctly. They are a thinner bumper.

I think that is what confused him. 3 down each side of the hood and where the heck do these other four go.

Re: Front Hood Rubber Bumper Location

I already put the flat rubber bumpers down the side (3 on each side). The 4 thicker rubber bumpers that are in the front are the ones that I thought fit into the hood. Instead these 4 fit into the part the hood rests on (2 on each side). Now I am good. They now are where they all (10) belong.
