Re: Greetings
Hella H4 conversion headlights installed
I converted the headlights to an H4 type. I went with the Hella lamps as they look similar to the original 7 inch headlights and one has to really look to notice they are not stock. After much research on 67-72chevytrucks a Forum, I purchased a wiring harness with built in fuses and relays and the lights online. The Hella lens are very nice quality - they have glass lenses and metal reflectors. Power comes directly off the battery. I mounted the relays on the fender near the battery. image by Luftwaffepdx, on Flickr image by Luftwaffepdx, on Flickr image by Luftwaffepdx, on Flickr image by Luftwaffepdx, on Flickr Illumination is significantly improved over stock. image by Luftwaffepdx, on Flickr Stock - sealed beam - low beam image by Luftwaffepdx, on Flickr New Hella H4 conversion - low beam image by Luftwaffepdx, on Flickr Stock sealed beam - high beam image by Luftwaffepdx, on Flickr New Hella H4 conversion - high beam |
