This may sound strange but if it is sticking out the striker may need to come out a small bit. Keep that in mind if you are at the end of your rope and are looking for the knot to grasp on to. This is because the latch if you feel it when you press the door closed it has two positions,well after the second is a half position almost that will feel like it is gonna go in and latch but it kicks back. It is kicking back into the second position[that is the normally all the way closed position] I am trying not to word this where it sounds to silly don't know if it is working. OK, more things may be helpful,the bolts on the hinges on the trucks side of the hinge move the door forward and backward in the "pocket"[pocket:body mans term for the door opening]. The bolt on the hinge that are on the door side move the door up and down and tilt and "twist" in the pocket.
