Lighter

Can someone please show me or tell me how to dis-assemble the actual lighter element. I have seen pics of elements separate from the push in knob, but I can not figure it out. I do not want to ruin the one I got. Thank you, Bruce

That simple. I take it seperates between the black trim and the silver lighter housing. Thanks for the encouragement cdowns.
