Oldchevypickup Registered User Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Warrington, PA Posts: 26	Re: Bed Wood My truck is red so I took the base coat paint thinned a lot and rubbed it on with a rag then used automotive clear (made for wood as well) and put 7-10 coats of clear over it. Looks great and should last a long time.
