Steel rims

Anyone else have wider stock style rims? This truck looks highly modified but what a great look!

Re: Steel rims

Looks pretty good. Those are bigger diameter than stock as well. I love wider stock center wheels and have always run them, standard width some too. I've had a set of 15 x 8s powder coated red on the shelf for years, waiting for me to get my '67 together. Meanwhile, it's got stock wheels. I did them red for a '72 shortie I planned to do a '55 cameo inspired paint job on. But decided to do this GMC and sold that.

Re: Steel rims

That truck was in another thread a while back and someone knew what company makes those wheels. Does anyone recall the thread or the name of the wheels? Thanks.

Re: Steel rims

That is a beautiful truck. I pm'ed the owner of that truck last your and here is what he told me....

"Here's the place that built my wheels: http://www.circleracing.com/108oe.htm

9.5" on front with 275/17 tires and 11" on the rear with 315's. I believe I had 5.25" of backspace on the front and 5.5" on the rear."

They are actually custom billet wheels powder coated. Very expensive
