lmc truck lowering block

Lmc says the lowering blocks are not recommended for 15in wheels why

too much of a lowering block can cause the suspension to be lower than the rim in the case of a flat tire. a larger diameter rim potentially won't have this issue.

I think if you get a flat tire your trailing arm will be on the ground.

My understanding is that a lowering block larger than 1.5" will cause the u-bolts to scrub in the case of a flat...
Maybe someone that has run blocks and 15s will chime in.

Got 2" lowering blocks on my Willys...15" wheels....no problem ever.

Is your Willys a trailing arm suspension?

The dif sits on top of the trailing arms and the trailing arms are pretty tall. If the blocks are too tall the bottom of the u-bolts will be below the rim in the event of a flat tire.
