Alternators and PN's for Internal Regulator Conversion

Ok,

Well I've spent way too much time on this to not share this information so here goes.

Below is a listing of internal regulated alternators with different plug positions and amp ratings for those wanting to convert from an external voltage regulator to an internally regulated alternator.

---- ----------------PN-------- Plug Position--- Amp--- Warranty

Autozone-----DL70897-------------6-----------78-- lifetime

Autozone----- DL7897-6-6---------6----------108-- lifetime

Autozone----- DL7194--------------6-----------94-- lifetime

Autozone----- DL7294-9------------9-----------94-- lifetime

Autozone----- DL7134-9------------9-----------85-- lifetime

Autozone----- DL7127-9M----------9-----------63-- lifetime

Autozone----- DL7194-9------------9-----------94-- lifetime

Orielly-------- 01-0249-------------9------------78-- lifetime

Orielly---------01-0266------------12-----------94-- lifetime

Autozone----- DS70897-6-12-----12-----------108-- lifetime

Autozone----- DL7194-12----------12 -----------94-- lifetime

Here are two awesome links that will help with the conversion process:

Hope this can help!!

Re: Alternators and PN's for Internal Regulator Conversion

Good info!
This should be put in the electrical sticky as there are always lots of questions on this conversion.
