Air Ride -- factory ride height

I'm looking into a Ridetech AirBar 4-link for my 88 cc dually. This is my tow rig. I have NO interest in slamming my truck. If the conversion lowers the rear a couple inches by default, then so be it. I'm not wanting to c-notch or ride low. Wondering if anyone has a "stock" appearing truck with this setup or something very similar? I love the look of dually's laid out, however, Not an option for my truck at this point.
My dually tows our 5th wheel camper. So a slammed dually isn't practical for my needs.

Have you looked at http://pbfab.com/73-87-rear-dropmember-airbag level 1 should keep you close to stock height.It does have a c notch but its probably small and under bed not a big step notch.

Thanks. 8" ride height is too low.

Right now I'm at 32'' front and 34'' rear. With a 31'' tall tire. Measured at top of wheel well. I can't go any lower than 30''.

8" is the inflated right height of the bag itself, not the whole truck. It would more than likely be lower than your minimum of 30" though.

For towing if you have the skills/tools the best bet would be a 4 link with the bags on top of the axle. That would give you the most weight carrying capacity from what I've read. The cheapest would be a shackle/hanger kit which is a 4" drop and would put you at 30. Then you could add the helper bags if needed.

Check out this thread for a very well thought out rear setup with towing in mind. It still might be lower than youd like though but it gives you and example.

Buy the kit & utilize spacers for the height difference.

Awesome build Scot. Way more than im looking to do. Skill set isnt the issue. I just dont need or want to go that low. Stock height without leaf springs is what I want. I gained a lot from your build. Im going to do some net surfing and find a 4-link setup I like. Looking strongly at the reversible sleeve bags used on the big trucks.

Ride Techs 'bolt-on' kits previously offered for the squarebody trucks was advertised as 7-10" of drop. I personally don't see how that could have been achieved w/the bag placed under the frame rail given the height requirements @ recommended pressures.

The 4-bar w/sleeved bags will definitely offer improved ride quality so it's just a matter of setting the bag brackets in the correct location so the bag functions correctly @ it's recommended pressure/height. The way my set-up is built, I could simply add spacers & be right back @ OE ride height but I built everything to the 8" lowered height.
