49 visors

my visors look really short. they only cover about 2/3 of the windshield left to right. is there a longer year model visor that will work

That's the way they are on all of them.
I took this of the one in the 49 Cab I have this morning to check.

Lower the front bumper and tint the upper 4" of windshield.
Actually took mine off and haven't really needed them.

Some early yr visors will slide/extend towards the center of the windshield, not all.

I'm adding a set from a later model Suburban (mirror and lit for wifey). Had change the 3 screw holes position and add holes for the end mount, but it looks like they will work.

Looking at the one I have that is minus the cover, once you put a new cover on it it would be as close to the mirror as you wanted it. Not the full coverage with the cutout you see on the new rigs but most of the time it would keep the sun out of your eyes.
