Parking Brake question

I was wondering what did most you all do with your parking brake when you restored your trucks. Did you remove it all together or did you relocate it? I've noticed a lot of interiors didn't have the big ugly Vise Grip under the steering wheel anymore.

Re: Parking Brake question

I'm wondering the same thing! The 67-68is different and the firewLl protrudes slightly. I would like to add the pedal but not sure of the application? Hopefully you get an answer.

Re: Parking Brake question

I'll assume you're speaking of the 67-68 with the hand brake. You're going to find that 100 different answers to what people customizing their trucks have opted to do with it. Some leave it. I've seen some do billet pull handles along the drivers seat edge, and along the trans tunnel. I've seen some transplant in the 69-72 brake, and others that have fitted billet style e-brakes. Use the search function for something specific you're looking for. There's a lot of ideas in the builds section.

Re: Parking Brake question

Like many others have said on this forum on this issue, the search function really didn't help on this topic.
