Low Buck Build Threads Help or LBBTH

Alright I've been on here for alittle while and I really enjoy reading the build threads. I like just about any year truck. But what I really like is the low buck builds. So how about some suggestions on low buck build threads to read? I know you boys got some up your sleeves.

Try searching the word shoestring here, I remember combing through a few low budget threads with that in the title.

Mine was kinda low budget, you can look through mine. I did all the work myself. Not a show truck, but a cool cruiser. It's in my signature.

Re: Low Buck Build Threads Help or LBBTH

Thanks fellas. I hope to be able to find more. For me personally it helps me see what direction I need to head in with my old truck. Also gives others a chance to find threads that relate as well. While low buck builds have been killed over and over in magazines, really the internet is where you find the most invigorating. Thanks again! Please post more up. Don't let this thing die to the back burner. I know there are several.

1. Kustombrads
2. chevyrestoguy
3. pdxhall

more to come I hope.

Re: Low Buck Build Threads Help or LBBTH

I'm hoping to find more cause I know there has to be. If need be we can change the name of the thread. I didn't have any good thoughts on titles. Titles are not my thing. I really don't care if it is a '48 pickup or a '98 pickup. Post it up. Help others and myself find those threads. They're usually well put together too for the most part. I like to read those builds that have some meat and potatoes. Honestly my truck is "rusty" and I am on a very low budget but that doesn't mean slammed together with elmers glue and duct tape. There are some very nice lowbudget builds with teeth. So let's get them together here. Come on let's keep'em coming. I'm going to push this thing hard. Thanks.

Re: Low Buck Build Threads Help or LBBTH

You can check my budget build my 1972 GMC...

http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=385027

Building that truck in the dilapidated garage I had at the time kept my sanity in check. I had gotten divorced and it kept my mind off of all the negatives in my life. Now things are much more betterer in my life!

No frills, and all work done by me. I'm still workin on it now.
