Sectioned Crossmember for sale
Hey all,
I sectioned a 67-72 crossmember that I was going to use in my truck before I decided to go with a Z instead. It is sectioned 1 inch (I know you can do 1.5 but I didnt want to worry about steering interference). It was powdercoated but I had to grind off a bunch to weld it. I shot a quick coat of primer on the bare metal parts. $300 OBO + shipping [/QUOTE]

Re: Sectioned Crossmember for sale
It lowers the front end without giving up ground clearance. It will also let you layout closer to the ground.

Re: Sectioned Crossmember for sale
I don't get what you mean when you say sectioned.? Does it move up inside the frame rails.?
And does that mean it is closer to the oil pan or does the engine end up higher up.? |

Re: Sectioned Crossmember for sale
Yeah it moves it up into the frame rails. It doesnt change the engine height or anything as the tower mount holes are moved down the same amount.
