Thoughts on exhaust design do my 87 GMC crew cab long bed dually with 454
Its start from manifold dual exhaust to 3" pipe to cats from cats to x pipe from to two flowmaster super 44 from mufflers to 3" inch intrets to 4" exit tips the exhaust is go stop in front of the back tires |

Sounds a bit over kill and overly loud, but not too bad. I think dual 2.5" would probably be better. And i bet you would be happier with 50 series.

Unless its a Built motor that probably going to be too much exhaust. A single 3" is usually plenty on stock or even slightly built motors in my opinion. Single 3" on my 454 trucks.

3" into the muff's is do-able. Downsize from there (especially if its TBI).
