black and white 73-80?
Since cheese posted a rendition of his dually in green and white I've wanted to do the paint scheme sooo bad. Problem is fast and loud, as much as I like them just did their square those colors so I don't want to be that main stream. I was thinking of factory style two tone paint jobs with full trim that I've not seen much. Oddly enough one that came to mind is black with white center and white roof. Does anyone have pics of that? Or photo shop n2trux's truck like That? I know it's opposite the full trim but I want to do white bumpers and mirrors too.

Re: black and white 73-80?
When I was young, way back in the mid to late seventies, a gentleman in my hometown had what I believe was a 75-77 SWB 4x4 in the medium green metallic with a lighter, almost yellow green top and center stripe. They were factory applied colors because the truck was new. I've seen many trucks in either of those colors as solid paint, but very few as 2 tone. I've never been a big fan of green, but I thought that was a beautiful truck. I also remember a black SWB fleetside with woodgrain on the sides that I think was a factory option around 73-75. With chrome wheels, it was a stunner, too. I guess I'm showing my age now, but I think either combination would stand out in a sea of no chrome and black wheels. Chip.

There are great examples of both on here. Look up "woodson" and search green trucks. I don't like the two tone green personally. And the woodgrain has grown on me
But not enough to do it myself. Even tho woodson is a beautiful truck! |

Not exactly what you are looking for, but, I am doing my 76 K5 to appear as if the owner had ordered a white truck with a black top and roof. I have not seen the combination on the 70's K5s.

Nice truck looks good. I never thought of a wrap that's a good idea!
