manual roll-up/down windows to power?

Hey there fellas, had some questions pertaining to the swapping out of my manual roll_up/down windows on my 86 k5 for some power windows from a 88 donor? What would I need as far as electrical? From the 88 to make work? Can this be done? Any info/know_how,as usual much appreciated!!!

Yep, very doable. I've got all the parts to do it in my '79, just haven't had the time.

The power window harness should also contain power locks. So, if you find donor doors, pull the lock actuators and linkage as well. Unless you don't want them.

if the truck has power locks and manual wimdows
the wires in the harness plugs are in different spots then with both
and get the rubber boots for the doors/wires

I know I'm digging up an old thread, but how hard is it to add the hole right there for the wires? Thanks all!

I guess the hole would need a "hole saw"for metal, not sure about how that would work
