Coil over c20? Best trailing arms and control arms?

Hey guys, I plan on doing a major overhaul on the suspension and brake system in my 69 Chevy C20. It sits to high for my liking, handles like a school bus and doesnt stop worth a damn. I want it to drive and handle like completely different when i'm done. I'm keeping it 8 lug because i think its a cool feature and very original (most old Chevy trucks by me are 5 lug). Thinking of doing a 3/4 or 4/5 static lower. I'm not gonna be hauling anything in the bed but a motor or transmissions occasionally so the 3/4 ton heavy duty suspension is really not needed. I plan on towing my other hot rod and my friends race car in the future so i want to retain some towing capability. I was wondering if anyone has done a full coil over conversion on a c20. What the best trailing arms would be, boxed, tubular or stock. And what the best control arms would be, cpp, porterbuilt, etc. Any advice and suggestions welcome. Thanks guys
