E G R Valve 5.3
On a truck 2003 5.3 intake plenum is there a plug for the E G R valve?
Can I remove this stock valve and "plug" the hole? What are you using for this plug?

There would be a pipe sticking into the manifold just after the TB. Iirc its a metal tube that looks a little like the oil pickup.
I forget what year that changed, but they do sell a blockoff for them if you want to. My late 03/early 04 lq4 doesn't have one that I recall doing anything with. Image stolen from gooooogle

A lot of these engines had an egr block off stock. You can probably find one at the junkyard or dirt cheap elsewhere.

Yeah I bought a cover for that and the other one on the top from a seller on eBay, they fit perfect and seal tight.
