Thumbs down 200r4 yoke versus 4l60E yoke question

Swapping a 5.3 and 4l60e into my 62 c10.
I have the driveshaft that came with the truck but it was not installed. And I have the stock 2000 Sierra driveshaft...the 200r4 that came with the truck fits into the 4l60e. But it is a lot shorter than the 4l60e yoke. The universal joints are different between the 2 as well. Do I have to change the yoke or can I use the 200r4? I need to get the driveshaft shortened either way.
Is there an easy way to adapt the yoke? Thanks

A 200-4R yoke will work in a 4L60E. Though yours looks beat up?

Do not use the extra long yoke, They have binding issues on stock GMT-800 trucks.

FWIW, if your having the shaft shortened anyway, having a newer/better yolk installed isn't any extra work or serious expense, especially if you have bad splines or it feels uber sloppy. It'll give you the option to change ujoint style as well.
