What are your plans for working on your project this up coming weekend??
Instead of what you did or didn't do this past weekend, how about a motivational/commitment thread.
What are your plans for working on your project this up coming weekend?? I plan on changing front brakes. New rotors, wheel bearings, pads, etc. on the 87. I'll let you know in N2TRUX weekly thread on whether I completed the project or not. What are your plans??

I guess what I got done came early. Yesterday I noticed my new thermostat housing was leaking again. So I took care of that. My radiator has been leaking from the passenger side upper hose. I fixed that. Then I cleaned my carb a little with some Gumout. All in the rain! No garage to work in...

I'm gonna rebuild my carburator and see if that fixes the engine stumble that I've got at an idle, and when I got hard on her when she is cold. If not, I'll be tearing into my distributer again. I've got a 4 day weekend on my hands, and nothing better to be doing
 Another possiblity is that I haven't got enough backpressure, so I'm thinking about buying a 3.5" - 2.25" turndown for my muffler to see if that helps it out at all...

Work on my Autometer Speedo and Tach install on the extra bezel I have and also rerun tranny lines. Been needing to do the lines for some time and getting parts in this week.

im going to assembly my 415ci and try and see how this edelbrock mpi works out, then im going to try and finish the rear suspension. not to busy!!!!

Good idea Paul. This keeps things active, and works as a reminder of upcoming weekend projects. I like your line of thinking...
 I plan to strip the passenger side door panel on my 77. I am going to re-dye some of the interior pieces, and want to strip the done to the bone before I do....

Hhmmm.....
I still need to do those damn c-sections on the 74..... Nahhh, too wet, too cold. I could get started fixing/replacing the trans on the beater.... Nahhh. Too wet, too cold, no parts, & I'll get carried away if I start w/o direction. I think I'll R&R the 74's ignition switch since it's been acting weird lately & doesn't always want to start. Also need to get my d-rings installed in the trailer so the shop can use it to haul the 55 to the Autorama next weekend (I hate wrapping the tie-straps over the edge of the trailer).

I will most likely be resting from pulling a 4L60E out of my brothers '01 Silverado. I puked Monday. It is currently taking the Vettes Parking spot. Either that, or putting the sucker back in...

Well, last night my wifes Town&Country van distroyed a water pump!
I am now driving the 87 again while her and my son enjoy the comfort of my 2004. I already think that I am going to have heated seat/XMRadio withdrawals!  I guess this will motivate me more to fix these brakes!

Beating the crap out of a front 8 lug 10 bolt trying to get rusted parts apart so I can replace ujoints and ball joints. That and stripping the 87 truck that they came out of. Oh and drinking lots of beer!
