55 first series on a 1998 C5 chassis - PICS

Hello All, spent some time helping my buddy work on his project: a 1955 5 findow first series cab that he is mating up to a 1998 Corvette C5 chassis. Spent months on frame/grafting to vetter frame. Now onto cab and floor work. Fabbed up the pass side floor and installed, took 6 hours. good fun. Enjoy

finishing up. it was a joy to work with nice thick 16 gauge steel instead of the thin original metal i usually have to deal with. Still lots to do as you can see. Will keep you all posted.

Pretty cool. And I bet you'll love the ride. Pretty amazing work there, considering the C5 doesn't really have a chassis, but a torque tube to hold everything together.
Just so everybody else sees how much work you have done there, here is a pic of the C5 with no body. That's the engine to the lower left.

Any updates here? Was curious if anyone had tried this with 60-66 C-10s but I digging this on the AD truck.

I have a 55 2nd series and am installing the body on a 81 Chevy C-10. Have had a few problems mating the two together but it is working out. From what I have heard, the 47-55 Advanced Design works better on a S-10 chassis.
