need help asap

Getting ready to start replacing my floor/inner outer rockers. I was told to weld cross braces in the cab before I remove the doors. Here's the thing.... the driver door will open fine but the passenger side is giving me issues. I have to lift up on the door to get it to close.. Should I try to Jack the truck up in the right place to get the door to shut freely before I weld my cross braces in?

My best suggestion is to check and repair the hinges and door pins before you start cutting. My guess based upon your description is your hinges are worn out causing the door to sag. Once you fix the hinges you will know where you are.

Yep, look for elongated holes as well.
