'03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

I have a 2003 GMC 2500HD Crew cab/short bed SLT 4x4 that was a duramax diesel which I have pulled the engine, trans and some interior parts from. No VIN or title as the vin and title went with another truck.
Excellent opportunity for a swap candidate/etc! I can take measurements and such if you really want.

Pictures show most of what is left - am pulling the windshield shortly and will be pulling some minor things over the next few days so what you can see will change.

I would prefer to sell it as a whole - but will entertain selling off certain parts. $1500 for everything as it sits today. You must tow it off. In N. Greensboro. I might be able to tow it short distances - but that will cost quite a bit as my time is more valuable than anything else right now.

Bed is intact, but a little beat up, no tail gate or taillights. Front and rear axles/diff are still present, (14 bolt full floating rear).
Interior is dirty, but in decent shape although front drivers seat cushion is torn. This was used as a work truck. Has drivers side doors - pass doors are gone. Glass/window motor from drivers door and wiring gone on drivers door. Some of the pics will show where I put a steam cleaner I have on the seats - cleaned up quite a bit. Seats are mostly dirty, not cleaned.
Front fenders are currently still on truck - front framework for radiator/etc.. is being removed.
My number is area code 361 then 244 4419. If you want something specific - call or text me and I'll get back to you with a price or if it is already gone. PM always works as well.
No headlights/grill/front end parts. No No pass doors, no tailgate or taillights. I may be forgetting some other items.
I'd love to see this go to a swap project for a older Chevy/GMC vice selling for parts around here.
Moved most of the pics, here is the overall one - I don't have a recent one where the fenders are already gone - interior is already all stripped. Just ask if your not sure.

Re: '03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

What is the wheel base, center tire to center tire? What gear ratio? That would be the G codes on the glove box option label. How much for what's left? Just saw the whole price! Impossible to get rid of the cab w/o a title in most states! How much for rolling chassis.? LMK Thanks, Dan

Re: '03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

Wheelbase - 153"
Axle code is GT4 = 3.73. G80 for the posi.
I have someone who wants the cab - or at least the t-bar on the pass side as they have a family mbr with a t-boned crew cab and they need that pillar. Not worried about just the cab if needed. Its a parts truck for now.
For just the frame - no cab, I'd say $1000 as that is the bulk of the valuable stuff - axles/etc.. But bottom line, cash talks and the shorter timeline involved in it sitting in my driveway the better as my wife is very patient and I'm pushing that patience with three in the way right now - this one, the one I swapped over to and my '71 GMC SWB that is just about done and ready to be sold.

How many miles on the OD when you started parting out? Is it rear disc?

Re: '03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

112k. Engine died in '09 and it was parked for 4 years - guy I bought it from had bought it in 2013 for a steal, pulled the dead LB7, put a lot of time/money into it swapping in a LLY but never got it started. I bought it and was going to swap the entire interior over from a very nice one. However, I found a cherry chassis/cab and swapped the LLY/trans over to that instead.

Rear disc brakes - yes. No, transfer case went to the other truck. No driveshafts either. Complete from the yoke on the front and rear diffs to the brakes/wheels though.

Re: '03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

I have a 131.5 wb 99 suburban 2500, so the entire rolling chassis would be out. I was looking at converting to 4x4, but that would be cost prohibitive. If you get down to parting out the remainder of the truck, I may be interested in the rear end if within the budget. Good luck on your sale! Thanks, Dan

Re: '03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

Yea, Avalanche, Suburban, Yukon XL and the Denali XL's should all be the same. The "very short" beds might also be the same - I think the 5.5" ones?
Don't think I'll let the rear axle go w/o the frame as it makes it harder to move around. But if I have to scrap the frame - I will likely sell just the rear axle.

If you part out the chassis, price on rear end with brake cables and hoses. Thanks, Dan

Just the master cylinder? Any of the lines or other parts? Of note, the reservoir was in the sun too much and likely should be replaced.

Jimmy - sorry for the delay, didn't have a chance to get on here. Yes, it has the compass/temp/onstar mirror. Do you need just the mirror or also the wiring going up into the headliner?
Break - for anyone, I'm willing to cut up the harness as needed on the body side if you want certain parts since it all will be removed when the body gets sold.

Re: '03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

Update - I have removed the fenders, much of the interior and may have the cab/body sold shortly. That leaves the frame/running gear plus interior before the cab leaves. Not ready to sell just the rear axle, but would rather sell the entire frame/front and rear axle gears/parts.
For those who expressed interest in the parts - before I can give you a price, let me know how much you need - i.e. just the mirror or wires as well, just the hydraboost or the lines, PS pump, etc?
Thanks!

Re: '03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

I have the cigarette lighter and I think you mean the other cigarette lighter in the center of the lower dash? If so - yes, all once part with the glove box.
I am debating offering up the center seat with that part as many who convert from a console need the glove box part as well.
What part of it are you looking for?

Ralph and Jimmy - let me know what parts in total you want and I'll give you a price.

Re: '03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

Compass/temp mirror - with or without the harness cut up into the headliner: $55 shipped

Hydroboost brake setup,(to include master cylinder, but no lines): $75. If you want the brake pedal/lines/pump to do a full conversion,(brake pedal has higher mounting point for the rod): $125 plus shipping which I imagine will run $30-$35 based on the weight/size.

Y harness for the cigarette lighters behind the dash as described: $12 shipped.

Pedal and module, and I assume the wires coming out of that module as well - then cut, or just to the module?
Pedal and wires to module and module itself: $90 shipped. Add $10 if you want wires leaving it as well as that then cuts up some of the harness.

Re: '03 2500HD 4x4 frame/cab/bed/interior

Ralph,
I was out of town to Virginia for the past week and just got back. Sorry for that. Found out on the diesels - there is no module. It plugs into the wiring harness as the ECM/ECU controls the fuel injection for throttling - no throttle blade and that is what the module interacts with. Do you need a module b/c you have a gas engine/throttle blade? If not, I can send just the pedal/connector.
That being said - I can get a module from a pick-n-pull nearby. Should be less than $10, so I'll stick with that same price. Just let me know.

Jim - sent email with info on how I'm a terrible person since I didn't get it in the mail before I left. You should see it next week.

Radio, HVAC panel, rear seats are sold.

Just got back last night myself and have one sitting at my door last, have you sold the hydroboost, mastercylinder, and lines?
