64 C10 dash & gauges

My 64 c10 gages are all idiot lights and I would like to have real gauges. I have seen some complete dash panels with speedo, gauges etc. What years look and fit like 1964? How much trouble is it to replace? thanks

Re: 64 C10 dash & gauges

64-66 clusters would be the only year clusters that will fit the dash. There are quite a few modifications needed to make it work with the existing harness.

The oil line is the simple -The sending unit is removed and a line is plumbed into the gauge. The fuel gauge and speedo are the same. The ammeter has to be wired in as does the temp gauge. Most opt for replacement harness designed for the factory gauges, but it can be done with a warning light harness if you make the correct modifications.
