anyone else have one corner set down after drop

I lowered my 84 c10 today and now the left rear set noticeably lower, right front is higher. I used 3 inch drop spindles and a belltech flip kit. Any ideas??

Hmmm body panels are good? Tires all same size? Air pressure all the same in all 4 tires?

Re: anyone else have one corner set down after drop

I have sort of the same issue. My passenger side rear sits a little lower than the rest of the truck. I have DJM spindles and cut springs in the front and a flip kit in the rear. I also replaced all of the suspension bushings as I did the front end work and have just put new leaf springs in the rear. The truck wasn't sitting like this before all of the work and I know history of the truck and its never been hit and also never been worked hard to tweak anything. Sometimes I think its just one of those things that happens.

Some things you may check is to make sure the tail of the spring is set in the bucket correctly on the front end. As for the rear, make sure your axle is pushed up against the pins on the springs. If all of this checks out, you can measure from the top of the axle to the frame on each side to make sure the distance is the same or close. Or, just throw a whole air system under it and adjust each corner to your liking!

You might have a weak spring it wouldn't have been really noticeable in stock height but it will be now.

Aren't our trucks kinda known for leaning towards one side?

Squarebody lean.....

Mine's lower on the passenger side than the drivers side. One day I'll try to figure it out.

Re: anyone else have one corner set down after drop

I switched leaf springs from left to right after reading an older post.. No change. I'll pull coils one day this week to check them and cut down a little

Re: anyone else have one corner set down after drop

I have the same problem.. The front sit even and the back sit 1in lower on the drivers side.. I'm thinking it's the shock placement on the truck. The one on the drivers side sits to the back while passenger shock sits to the front of the axle..

Re: anyone else have one corner set down after drop

Ok if switched the rear springs from one side to the other, pulled the coils to cut 1/2 a coil out and they are same height. still sits horrible. Left front is 28" to molding, right rear is 28", left front is 30", left rear is 26". Any ideas of a fix? this thing is killing me lol

Re: anyone else have one corner set down after drop

I'm changing my front springs so I decided to measure mine on all 4 corners before I started....

Tri5 have you measured four points to the bottom of the frame to rule out body mounts? Just a thought.

Re: anyone else have one corner set down after drop

Did you measure each corner before lowering? Chances are it might have had the issue before but wasn't noticed because the larger gaps make it less obvious.

Re: anyone else have one corner set down after drop

Just put new KYB's on all four corners of my C20... was level with the worn out shocks... now the passenger front is at least an inch lower. I am hoping that after settling in, things will level out... time will tell.
