Swapped wheels

Just thought I'd share the pic! Sold the 20s and put the rallies back on...just decided I liked them better after having driven on both for a while.
The 20s were showwheels streeters 20x10 & 20x8 with 285/40 & 245/45.
Rallies are the 7in. front (stock) and I swapped for 8in. rears. 235/70/15 & 255/70/15 tires.

Re: Swapped wheels

Beautiful truck. I've grown to like the big-wheel squares when done right but I think yours favors the rallies. That's a perfect stance on rallies.

4" drop leafs in the rear w/air shocks. 3" spindles in front w/1.25 coils cut off springs...

Re: Swapped wheels

PERFECT! No notches? No rear flip? Shock relocators in the rear? Who made the leafs? I want that stance!

Re: Swapped wheels

No notches and no flip kit. The bumpstops are removed but I still need to remove the brackets to get the clearance where I'm comfortable. The leafs are western chassis with shock relocators that I ordered from brothers. The back will sit down a little farther if I let some air out of the shocks. I think it rides well.
I just pulled my 14' camp trailer about 120 miles w no troubles at all w this setup (I just aired up the shocks first). Once I get the brackets removed I don't even think I'll have to worry about it when towing the trailer though

Re: Swapped wheels

For me aftermarket wheels always look like an addon and for lack of a better word, artificial.
The rallies are part of these trucks and look great stock, lifted or lowered. Classic look for sure. Rallies are the real deal.

Re: Swapped wheels

I love those rallies. Basically I want to get those original wheels that american revolution has with the white and the chevy center hubcaps. Anyone know where they are available?

Re: Swapped wheels

I like going this direction. The rallyes look great without a doubt. 15" wheels and tires rock! Put some rubber 'round that wheel! Sure makes them ride better
