Mr Handy, I thought the same thing but prior to putting the divorce choke on I checked and its a smooth bore. With the divorce choke there's a nipple on the bottom of it that fits in the hole, also with a nipple on the manifold where the hole on the divorce choke sits. This is why I thought it just sits there and clearly I was wrong.
