Re: My 67 short stepside

Thanks Ryan.

Baer six piston 6S brakes were shipped this week. So soon we will have front brakes. Rear Baer brakes are coming on 35 spline powder coated Currie Fab 9 with trusses added. Also has a floater hub assembly on the rear end.

Hopefully we can get the firewall in this weekend. Then we will move to roof skin and drip rails. Msybe soon we can put cab back on the frame for measurements for LS set back.

Jus2qwk,

Your truck is one of my favorite trucks. I started to do silver but we are going dark blue instead.

Re: My 67 short stepside

Thanks Adam and Robbie.

Cab still has a lot to go, welding firewall with 5-6" setback going in today.

New Currie rearend couldn't ship last week because powder coat didn't pass quality specs.

Rear fenders will be in next week. Maybe at least get the bed looking good.

Re: My 67 short stepside

Looks like 95 percent of the cab will have be replaced from the guy I sold it to leaving it in crappy Houston weather.

Re: My 67 short stepside

It is home now and getting well massaged sheet metal. Truck means a lot to me, lots of memories with my Dad with this truck. Still amazed I found it after 9 years. Anyway it is pretty cool playing with the truck again. Cannot wait till the truck looks like a truck again. I think we are going away from the LSX block and going to a lighter LS7 aluminum block. 130 lbs lighter same power.
