Hard to really see with a rule BUT it looks like you NEED drums ....... yours LOOK to be way over the MAX ID. LOOKS to be about 13.125

Yes it gets lube from the DIFF. BUT you need the pack some wheel bearing grease on/in the cones when you install them or you CAN/WILL wipe out the bearings as there will be NO oil from the DIFF. for awhile .... I have seen it happen.... Also make sure there is some preload on the bearings when done (NOT LOOSE) there should be NO end play in the hub when done
