Outside Door Window Seal Replacement
I have a little surface rust I want to clean up on the bottom of my door window opening on my 86 C10. It would make it easier to do if I take the bottom outside door window seal off. My question for anyone that has done this is, it looks like it just prys off the door in a few locations? Would I be able to reuse it? Thanks for the info

Re: Outside Door Window Seal Replacement
I think a lot depends on the condition of your seal. The problem is getting a good replacement seal if you need one. The window shops around here use the Precision brand, but Soft Seal seems to be the preferred brand for restorations (expensive though.) Don't buy your seals off ebay - I did and they were imported junk - bad fit and thin material. This is one place where the extra $$ matter.
