Lq9 swap wiring help needed

Hello guys & thank you for looking & your time.
Ok before I start with the questions this is an lq9/4L65e swap into my 1969 C10 & I'm also doing the update kit from American autowire.
Not new to the update kit but very new to the ls swap so plz be patient with me.
#1 Gray wire to fuel pump:What gage wire is recommend? (Just to run from motor to underbed gas tank?)
#2 purple brake pedal switch wire: Do I Connect this up to my brown brake light switch wire?
#3 Purple wire cranking signal:What do I connect this to?
#4 My classic update wiring kit from American autowire has a purple wire with a white stripe called VSS power what is this for I can't remember & it's Sunday so there closed today & I'm trying to get this done.
Thank you guys I hope I said it rt my brain is fried rt now with all these wires lol.

Re: Lq9 swap wiring help needed

Fuel Pump wire, I use 12 gauge, But 14 gauge will work fine.

Purple TCC brake switch wire, You will need a Dual Pole Brake Switch, '85 Chevy C10 w/ cruise is a good application, How to wire it has been covered several times here.

Cranking signal wire....Not needed.

AAW VSS power....Not Needed. Your PCM has a 4000 PPM signal out of the PCM for an electric Speedometer.

Re: Lq9 swap wiring help needed

Thank you so much that helped a lot I didn't do any wiring today had to pull my motor back out to move my motor stands one hole back took me most of the afternoon I'm doing this on my own and it faught me more than it did the first time I dropped it in :-/
What about pink ignition feed wire off of the AAW Kit do I use this on the LS swap?
Also the ls swap harness has a purple cranking signal wire where do I connect it at?
I am very very new to ls swaps have only been reading up on them for 6-7 months & I have to say needing a brake relay kit is new to me I wasn't even told this when I purchased my motor and harness.
I purchased my motor, transmission and harness all as one kit & was told it was drop in ready with only a 3-4 wire hook up.
Thank you for your time

You don't need a brake relay kit, all you need is a replacement brake switch (sometimes called stop switch). Your truck already has one, but its probably a 2-pole (meaning it has 2 poles, or blades, where wires connect). Right now, you have two wires going to it, which make the brake lights turn on when you press the pedal.

You need to replace it with a newer-model 4-post unit. I have the part # in my build a few pages in, but I don't have it off hand at this second. All it does it add the hookups for TCC, which will already be in your new harness labeled "TCC". Its straightforward replacement, and hooks up simply with a few female spade's.

Re: Lq9 swap wiring help needed

Most definetly
Brake light is off until applied
T converter is ON until brake is depressed
