Re: rear drum removal

It'll work fine.

You'll need the strut bar and springs too with those brackets.

Re: rear drum removal

You need to buy or rent a drum puller made by Owatonna Tool Company (OTC). It puts all other cheaper models to shame. I've used it on some really stuck drums and I had them off in minutes. Heavy-gauge steel and a unique design. Shop around online, eBay, etc. it would be money well spent.

Re: rear drum removal

You can use a combination of common tools, a vice, hammer and crescent wrench to straighten that parking brake lever because it looks to be in decent condition other than it being bent.
I would inspect it for cracks both before and after straightening.

Re: rear drum removal

Thanks for all the info. I could straighten that one end but where the c clip goes to hold it to the shoe is wore off.i could drill a hole in the end and use a small self tapping screw and washer. I'm not hooking up the parking brake cables till a later time
