700r4 to inline 250 help

I would like to put a 700 behind my 250 but what can I do about the tv cable to the one barrel" any help with brackets or any ideas needed

The Trucks! TV show mated a 700r4 behind an Inline 6, on their vehicle named Project Classix, a 49 Chevy 3100. If I'm not mistaken, they had some custom linkages made. You can probably youtube the episodes to find any references.

What I can tell you is that the TV cable needs all the slack pulled out at idle. Then, as the throttle is depressed it immediately pulls the tv cable until it's completely extended by the time the carb reaches WOT.

Check out a company called Bowtie Overdrives. They have entire packages for the 700r4's including for the TV cable.
