Sorry for the delay in responding, but I'll be damned, I found my brackets, but cannot find the lock nuts anywhere.. I am sure they are in a bag inside a box on one of the shelves, but so far no joy! Figures, as soon as you want something, it decides to hide out. I'll keep looking as I am going to need them pretty soon!

Re: 68 Burb - Project - GoldMember
Continued some work on GoldMember..
Moving to the rear, I began to disassemble the rear axle in prep for the C-Notch.. Well, Guess they don't make sockets as good as the old days, with a short breaker bar I ended up with these.. So out came the sawzall and plasma. went from this:to this: continued on attacking the rivets.. Man I hate Rivets!! started with the bumpstop I ended the day after getting the passenger side mocked in. I only need to finish drilling a couple mounting holes, and painting all areas that will be inaccessible. Forgot to get pics after I started on the rivets.. I have I mentioned how much I hate Rivets!! Especially the ones I couldn't get the grinder on..

I actually have so many parts around the house for 3-4 projects I lose them in the house all the time! Sometimes I look for hours to not find it and then have to go on to something else. But I usually find something I was looking for and earlier project, lol |

Even though mine are all in the same shop, it's always a gamble whether or not they hide upstairs or down. Usually I think I am being good when I dedicate a shelf for a project, bag things, walk them upstairs and drop them on the right shelf. somehow that only lasts for a week or two. then the mixing magically begins.

Re: 68 Burb - Project - GoldMember
Twisted:
Are you using dropped spindles and bags, or just running with the stock spindles with your AccuAir kit?

I'm running dropped spindles and bags. I've got upper plates and stock upper a-arms, and Ride Tech tubular lower control arms.
