I haven't gotten a motor yet but I am wanting to get a donor GEN 4 LS corvette or camaro to use. Does anyone know if we have enough room in the engine compartments on our truck to use the stock ac mounting location? And help will be much appreciated!!
The answer is that it depends on the mounts that you use and the exact engine placement. I used the stock LS compressor on my '72 swap. All the details of the AC setup are here starting around post 89 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=668385
